Ana Božičević was born in Croatia in 1977, and emigrated to New York when she was nineteen. Her most recent book is Rise in the Fall (Birds LLC). Her debut book of poems, Stars of the Night Commute (Tarpaulin Sky Press), was a finalist for the 2010 Lambda Literary Award. She completed her MFA at Hunter College, and is now a PhD Candidate in English at The Graduate Center, CUNY, where she helps run the Annual Chapbook Festival, Lost&Found: The CUNY Poetics Document Initiative, and the Transculturations Seminar.
Don Mee Choi is the author of The Morning News is Exciting (Action Books, 2010), and the recipient of a 2011 Whiting Writers’ Award. She also a translator of contemporary Korean writing including, most recently Kim Hyesoon’s Princess Abandoned (Tinfish, 2012) and All the Garbage of the World Unite! (Action Books, 2011), winner of the 2012 Lucien Stryk Asian Translation Prize.
