Jess Arndt is a fiction writer and co-editor of the new prose experiment, New Herring Press. She was most recently published in Parkett vol.91, The Diner Journal (Fall 2013), Randy! Art Zine and Put A Egg On It. She teaches fiction at Rutgers University and lives in WA state and Brooklyn. Karen Lepri is the author of Incidents of Scatttering (Noemi, 2013) and the chapbook Fig. I (Horse Less Press, 2012). Lepri was the recipient of 2012 Noemi Poetry Prize. She holds an M.F.A. in Literary Arts from Brown University. Her poems, translations, & reviews have appeared or are forthcoming in 1913, 6×6, Beloit Poetry Journal, Boston Review, Best New Poets, Chicago Review, Conjunctions, Horse Less Review, Lana Turner, Mandorla, Shearsman, TYPO, & Vanitas, Poetry Daily, and elsewhere. She lives in Sunset Park, Brooklyn and teaches at Queens College while working forward her PhD in English at the CUNY Graduate Center. She has also taught writing at Brown University and Bard College as well as worked as a public school teacher in the Bronx and Boston. She is currently completing her translation of a book of photo-poems by Mexican poet Carla Faesler and her own book of poems on violins, roughly.
